In the middle of France, not one, but two container homes are found in one town. The first one is called cross-box, as 2 containers are stacked square on top of two other containers creating a canthelever effect.
Location: Pont Péan, France
Built in: 2009 by CG Architects
But I said two container homes in Pont Péan. The other one is built using 6 containers. There is one row of 2 x 2 containers stacked and one row of 2 x 1 containers stacked, seperated by a hallway and stairs. And it’s right next door to the Crossbox.
Pictures in a next post.
